Room Rules
General Rules:
All IMC Rules and Terms of Service (ToS) apply within the room.
The room is rated "M" for Mature.
Treat other chatters and staff as you would like to be treated.
Please do not advertise other rooms while in WoD: San Diego, whether in public or in PMs.
XP will be capped at 5 per week. Additional XP will be given out by STs for plot participation as they see appropriate.
There is a 15 character limit per player. NPC's will count toward the limit unless otherwise specified by staff. If you reach 15 characters and wish to make a new one, you must first drop one of your characters.
Picture & Model Rules:
Picture limits are 400 x 400 pixels and no larger than 50k.
Post the model that you wish to claim on the room's Model List.
NPCs do not get to claim models unless they are longtime NPCs used by STs.
Be aware of the Model List rules that are posted on the forum's Model List.
Character Rules:
Character applications should be sent to WoD.SanDiego@gmail.com with the character type and character name in the subject line. A link to the character's sheet should be included in the e-mail.
There is a 2 week playtesting period for characters; this does not apply to restricted characters.
Characters under 17 are not allowed.
Freebie expenditures must be listed on the sheet.
Histories are required. Ask the ST if you have a question regarding what they are looking for.
The character's sheet must be linked to its handle.
Character approval status must be in your tag (In Progress, Playtesting, Applied, Approved).
XP must be tracked on your sheet in one form or another.
WoD:San Diego is a NO KILL room, unless character death is agreed upon by the scene's participants. Please keep in mind that this rule does not apply during ST scenes; your character may die.
Conflict & Mediation Rules:
Please be respectful of staff if they intervene (whether it is in room or elsewhere). If you are abusive to staff, disciplinary action may be taken.
Disciplinary action is as follows: First infraction is a verbal warning from staff. Second infraction is a written warning from staff. Third infraction is a ban from the room, length of time to be determined by staff.
If you have an issue with a chatter, please do not make it public. Contact a staff member if you feel the situation is serious enough. At this time, Maria is handling Conflict Mediation and Damage Control (CMDC). If you have a problem with a staff member, you may contact another staff member or site staff. Please refrain from creating public scenes.
These rules are subject to change, without prior warning. Staff will decide on rule changes and any changes will be posted on the room Message Board.
If the current Host/Co-Host(s) should no longer be associated with WoD: San Diego, all information, including webspace login and password, HTML, images, and all will be forfeited to the appropriate member of the WoD: San Diego staff. (The above note has been included as per IMC's requirement on Supported and Featured Private Rooms and Public Rooms.)
